Snowboarding Team Peru US Trip 2000 - COLORADO

Guti and the anatomy of a monstrous F/S 360.
Still under the influence
Sequence by Pesnow Inc.

Day: Any Saturday of March 2000

Time: 9:00 am

Weather: Sunny and clear after three days of storm.

Location: Frisco County Jail

"Buenos dias ",,,,,,,gmorning , where is my breakfast, mi desayuno",,,,,,,, that's how our day started, a fat cop lecturing who cares what, just pay the bail, and get me to Vail,,,,,,,,,

15 hours driving from St. Louis to Silverstone, a small town in Colorado were our friends Luis Eduardo, his wife Veronica and Vladi were waiting for us. Our baggage: 312 cans of bud, two boards, clothes, Marco´s chemical kit, pills for every thing, even pills to stop taking pills, a lot of condoms that  were never used, and two bottles of Peruvian traditional drink (PISCO) that did never arrive.

We stared warming up in Keystone after 6 months of no snowboarding at all, free lifts tickets courtesy of Veronica. Then some days in Breckenridge, one day in Arapaho and then to Vail. In Vail we found the best half pipe and snow park in the area. The jumps were very smooth and easy to land, there were at least 10 jumps in one ride, different sizes and positions, the last and the biggest one was opened that glorious Saturday after spending one night in jail for driving under the influence of everything. But the pay back that day was worth it, and Susana the district attorney and Sara from Intervention were great, best regards to them.

Don't forget to look careful around before getting in your car, there is always a hidden patrol somewhere waiting for you to make a mistake, but those are just small gaps in the route of snowboarding,,,,,,,,,,,,,
